Marat Mychaels, inker Marc Deering, and colorists Nimbus Studios bring us a new Demonslayer: Lords of Night cover -- and by popular demand, it's the first Demonslayer adult piece. This Demonslayer: Lords of Night edition will be available for order in next month's issue of Previews, so be sure to ask your retailer for it.

Both beauty and the beast are on display as the demonslayer gallery has another look at the upcoming Demonslayer: Lords of Night saga with a new cover by Juan Jose Ryp. Avatar has published numerous comics featuring the saga of Jaclyn Hayes, an archeologist whose trip to Tibet fullfilled an ancient prophecy and turned her into the Demonslayer.  Prior to Lords of Night, the most recent Demonslayer saga was Demonslayer: Path of Time.  There have been several other mini-series and one shots published at Avatar, and we also collected the Image-published material into the Demonslayer Trade Paperback.

Here's a smokin' cover piece from issue #1 of Demonslayer: Lords of Night by Juan Jose Ryp, a June release. Ryp is one of the busiest men in comics currently -- not to mention one of the most talented. You saw his work in last week's incredible release of Shi: Pandora's Box, and you'll see him next in Frank Miller's Robocop / Stargate SG-1 Free Comic Book Day edition, and in the mammoth landmark issue of Threshold #50 -- and then in Alan Moore's Another Suburban Romance, and of course, Frank Miller's Robocop starts in July.

A new Demonslayer mini called Demonslayer: Lords of Night is coming up and now you can check out three covers from the saga by three excellent artists -- Karl Waller, Juan Jose Ryp, and Marat Mychaels.

Waller has done numerous covers for Avatar, a handful of shorts in Threshold and Raw Media, the recent Shi: Poisoned Paradise mini-series, and one of the great unknown classics from Avatar's early years, the Wrath of the Furies spin-off called the Silhouette Special.

Juan Jose Ryp's work can currently be seen on the stands in the amazingly detailed pages of Shi: Pandora's Box #1/2, and upcoming on Frank Miller's Robocop and Alan Moore's Another Suburban Romance.

Marat Mychaels is the creator of Demonslayer, a perennial Avatar fan favorite -- and a natural storyteller/artist in an era when that combination has become increasingly rare. Marat's Demonslayer: Lords of Night begins in June 2003, with a preview edition available in May.
