TidalWave Studios LineTidalWave Studios burst onto the comic scene at Image in August 2000 with the launch of 10th Muse. Ranked by Wizard as one of the highest debuts from an independent producer, the book quickly found a wide audience. Based in Greek mythology and driven by both classic and cutting edge super hero sensibilities, 10th Muse has paired some of the top artists in comics with Marv Wolfman, a writer whose diverse accomplishments include credits for Transformers and GI Joe television series, a stint as Editor in Chief of Marvel, the realignment of the DC Universe with Crisis on Infinite Earths, and a highly-regarded Tomb of Dracula run which included the creation of the vampire/hunter Blade. 10th Muse is the cornerstone franchise of the TidalWave universe. The full color TidalWave line launches with 10th Muse and Black Tide in July, with others such as Legend of Isis and the Odyssey following in the months thereafter. |
