Warren Ellis
The award-winning creator of titles such as Transmetropolitan and The Authority from DC/Wildstorm, Ellis is widely regarded as one of the best writers in comics today. The bleeding edge creator was recently listed as one of the 100 most creative people in entertainment by Entertainment Weekly and as "Hot Writer" in Rolling Stone's Hot 2000 issue.
At Avatar Press, Ellis has done Strange Kiss, Stranger Kisses, and Strange Killings with Mike Wolfer, Dark Blue and Bad World with Jacen Burrows, and Atmospherics with Ken Meyer, Jr. Avatar has also published three volumes of his popular internet writings, From the Desk of Warren Ellis volumes one and two, and Bad Signal volume one, as well as script collections for Strange Kiss and Dark Blue.

New Section: Warren Ellis' Bad World
 There's a new section up for Warren Ellis' Bad World, the critically acclaimed trade paperback written by Ellis and drawn by Jacen Burrows. Bad World was the second of three major collaborations between Ellis and Burrows, which also includes Warren Ellis' Dark Blue and Warren Ellis' Scars, which is currently in progress. Burrows has also provided illustrations for Ellis projects From The Desk of Warren Ellis Volumes One and Two, and Bad Signal.
Bad World: A world of beauty in the eyes of many, but to bleeding-edge writer Warren Ellis, a world filled with evil, sin, decay and filth. A Bad World indeed. Told in a unique format of text and illustrations, Ellis explores the far edges of humanity, the people who are hanging to reality by the thinnest of threads, and those that are simply off their rockers.
