Avatar Press is pleased to announce its plans for the San Diego Comic Con International 2003 July 17-20. A number of Avatar creators will be in attendance at the Avatar booth (#5202) at the show to talk about current and upcoming projects, sign autographs, and some artists will be available to do a limited number of sketches as well. Avatar editor in chief William Christensen will be on hand at select times to accept creator proposals and talk about the latest developments at Avatar including what's in store for projects involving Alan Moore, Frank Miller, Warren Ellis, Garth Ennis, Joe R. Lansdale, Vivid Video, Stargate SG-1 and much more.

Avatar will also be debuting a special convention edition preview book at the show, Alan Moore's Yuggoth Cultures NecroComicon, which will give fans a sneak preview of that eagerly-anticipated Alan Moore mini-series. The NecroComicon will feature artwork from Bryan Talbot, Jacen Burrows, Mike Wolfer, Marat Mychaels, and Juan Jose Ryp, and an exclusive article from frequent Moore collaborator Antony Johnston. The Alan Moore's Yuggoth Cultures NecroComicon will be available first at the San Diego Comic Con International 2003.
